 ACTIVIDAD 1: En este pdf vamos a aprender a armar oraciones en Pasado utilizando el verbo “to be”. Pero antes necesito que mires las siguientes oraciones y contestes las preguntas.

 • The cat was brown. 

• The cats were brown. 

1) ¿Qué significa WAS en la primera oración? 

2) ¿Qué significa WERE en la segunda oración? 

3) ¿Cuándo se utiliza WAS? 

4) ¿Cuándo se utiliza WERE? 

5) ¿Por qué en la segunda oración “cat” termina con “s” y en la primera oración no?

ACTIVIDAD 2: Ahora que ya nos dimos cuenta solos del uso adecuado de WAS y WERE, juguemos a un juego llamado “Who is who?” (“¿Quién es quién?”). Adiviná quién es cada dios y diosa griega leyendo las oraciones. Colocá el nombre correspondiente debajo de cada dibujo.

• Hades was the god of underworld. 

• Hera was the goddess of marriage. 

• Artemis was the goddess of the hunt. 

• Hermes was the god of the road between the under and upper world. 

• Poseidon was the god of the sea.

• Athena was the goddess of wisom and courage. 

• Ares was the god of war. 

• Hephaestus was the god of metalworking and carpenters. 

• Aphrodite was the goddess of love and beauty. 

• Zeus was the god of thunder and sky.
